My Version of Heaven: Details From Day #1 in NYC

Good morning Upper East Siders... Jay here. :)

Okay okay, that's Gossip Girl's opener, but I couldn't help myself.

I cannot tell you how in love with this city I am. There is so much to do, and so many amazing people! Yesterday, we ventured into Central Park, made a pit-stop at the venue where Chuck and Blair finally tied the knot, walked through the Financial District, Times Square, and last (but certainly not least) we made our way to the Fashion District!

Oh, and I rode the subway. Not as bad as I anticipated, but it will take time to learn.

There's an H&M that could make any fashionista drool, a Forever21 the size of Atlantis, and an Express store that... I can't even describe it to you.

So, I'll put it in pictures. :)
Inside of H&M. The most affordable, yet trendy, store there is! Besides Forever 21. This place is a whole tower! (Mainly corporate offices)

FOUR floors, people. FOUR.
G = Latest trends, then B1, B2, B3 each have their own themes. (Men's, workout essentials, accessories, swimwear, girls, boys, pajamas, lounge wear, etc.)

Express. Yeah, it's huge.

And although I am a Starbucks lover to boot, I found a coffee shop right across the street from work that I am absolutely in love with! It's called The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and the soy chai latte I had was to die for. (I will admit, anywhere I go I always get a soy chai... #SorryBoutIt)

Me, uhm, awkwardly enjoying my beverage.

Also, I got my first experience at an NYC theater. Movie theater, that is. We went to go see Maleficent, and although I'm partial to Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie KILLED IT.

#Flawless

But, before that, we went to dinner at a place called "Mee Noodles." It was so good, and the best news is: they deliver, and it's only a block away from me.

Orange chicken w/ brown rice, and "Yang Chow" fried rice (sliced chicken, pork, shrimp, eggs, and fried rice). We also had a appetizer of crispy wonton pieces with a yummy sweet and sour sauce.

And more importantly...  I found the place in which I will be working at. On the 8th floor of the World Wide Apparel Resources Inc. building (yes, that's correct, WORLD).

Photo: Well, I found it! This is the building where I will be interning at. @stacyigel I'll see you on Monday! #JayTakesNY #XOXO
Me, standing in front of 1411 Broadway, the building where BMG USA is located. See you on Monday! ;)
There is so much to talk about, but there is so much to do... so I'm going to stop typing so that I can look decent for DAY #2 in NYC! Blog will be updated tonight or tomorrow morning. :)

Thank you so much for reading, share this blog if you wish! I love sharing my adventures (mainly to prove that Sparta girls can make it big, DREAM ladies, DREAM.SAY.DO.) :)

Love you all so much!

XOXO,

Jayy (or Jay, it goes both ways) Fabulous
